After nearly three weeks in Sri Lanka, sourcing, eating, and remembering, I'm back in Los Angeles and bringing things I tasted, felt, and gathered straight to the table.

Spice Island Supper Vol. 5: Home Return is a multi-course Sri Lankan dinner shaped by the light of the south coast, the flavors of the season, and the warmth of coming home.

About Spice Island Supper Spice Island Supper is Los Angeles' first Sri Lankan MEHKO (Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation) registered home kitchen, a multi-course dinner series founded by Mariola Diaz Powell, a first-generation Sri Lankan Angeleno channeling 15 years of tech brand-building and go-to-market strategy into a heritage-forward creative venture. Each volume brings together a small group of guests for an evening of Sri Lankan flavors, seasonal ingredients, and the kind of hospitality that only a home table can hold, intimate by design, and rooted in cooking that doesn't exist on any restaurant menu.
